For our Oil and Gas operating client, we have the vacancy for

Operator Mechanic M / V (offshore)

Within this job:

- You will Perform maintenance, troubleshoot and ordering parts for gas turbines, diesel / gas engines, pumps and compressors
- Also assist the teams in helicopter landing, “man overboard” and fire fighting
- Monitoring of the production, compilation and permits support colleagues

Skills / Requirements:

- Offshore and / or experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an absolute must
- Education Direction: Technical Minimum level NQF4: mechanical or marine engineering.
- Experience with rotating equipment (such as gas turbines, diesel engines, pumps and compressors)

Career Level: Professional / experienced

Job Responsibility

• Survey and investigation for the present condition for structures and facilities including earth works, drainage system, protective, level crossing and material sources.
• Advice for soil investigation of the base, round of embankment.
• Search and selection of borrow pit for soil supply.
• Detailed design of civil engineering structures and facilities such as drainage system in station yard and between stations, pipe culverts, retaining walls, level crossing structure and etc.
• Examination of stability of ground soil and cut and fill and design of roadbed.

• Preparation of technical specifications for civil works.
