Our client based in Bolivia, South America would like to interview candidates for a senior position in their company.

The ideal candidate would have at least 7-10 years experience in underground mining operations/exploration.

PLEASE NOTE: Regrettable, we are unable to consider candidates who do not have prior mining industry experience, this is a crucial requirement and NOT negotiable.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Ideally the candidate would be in the range of 37 – 50 years of age
• Bsc Degree in Mining Engineering/Geology
• Must be able (registered) to sign off on scientific and technical documents (NI 43-101). This is an essential requirement.
• Is a member in good standing of a professional association.
• Is an engineer or geoscientist with at least 5 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine development or operation or mineral project assessment, or any combination of these
• Has experience relevant to the subject matter of the mineral project and the technical report
• At least 7-10 years experience in underground mining operations/exploration
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders
• Ability to plan and achieve company goals and operational plans
• Teachable & willingness to learn Spanish
• The ability to work at altitude (above 4000m)

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS:

(Senior) Process Engineer

The work of our process engineers varies from performing (complex) conceptual and

FEED studies to carrying out detailed designs.

Often the work includes project-specific research, which regularly results in

innovative solutions.

As senior process engineer you are responsible for those engineering activities

which are required for the process definition of the project, this will include area’s

such as developing flow charts and P&IDs, performing process simulations and flow

assurance studies, being responsible for detailed design.

Besides the project activities, you are expected to coach young engineers and

contribute to the development of the know how of the department.

Qualifications required

• BSc/MSc degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Relevant exposure in the oil& gas industry.

• More than 10 years of experience as process engineer of which 5 years in the

oil & gas industry. Experience should include hands on experience in

simulation.

• Knowledge in disciplines such as instrumentation, process control and piping.

• Knowledge in the area of flow assurance studies, interested to widen his

abilities in this field.

• Proven ability to work in a team, both as team leader and as team member.

• Taking initiative (self starting)

• Professional communication in English (verbal and written), in a concise and

articulate way..

• Conversant with MS Office applications.
